Post-Season  Update

BCB has reached the end of a successful first season back on the competition floor at Texas Color Guard Circuit (TCGC) with a “First Place” finish in our division.  We rounded off our season with our annual “Friends & Family” performance on April 12 at Spring Baptist Church, where we showcased our TCGC show “Uno Mas…” for a final time along with a standstill performance of our Mardi Gras music.  Following the performance, the Corps and guests were treated to a BBQ lunch where year-end awards were handed out for the exceptional members of the Corps, as well as a few humorous awards.

No sooner had we concluded our 2025 year when on Sunday, April 13 (the next day), many members of the Corps participated on a Zoom call with Corps Manager Chris Parmeter and members of the administrative and instructional staff to begin developing the structure of the 2026/35th Anniversary Season for BCB. Among the topics discussed were development of the administrative and instructional structure for the coming year, progress on show development, rehearsal scheduling for the coming year, and recruiting and marketing of BCB over the next several months.

We hope to provide a tentative rehearsal schedule in this space in the very near future, as well as new information on the webpage on membership, auditions and inviting our incredible veteran performers from years past to join us for our historic 35th Year!  Stay tuned to this page for details in the coming weeks, as well as on our Social Media platforms; Facebook, Instagram and X.

Likewise, if you do not wish to perform, but are passionate about the drum corps/Marching Arts activity and would like to contribute your time and talents to help BCB move into the future, please contact us at Director @ BayouCityBlues . com for more information.
